Questions
What people ask before signing.
Every signal we use is either publicly available or licensed for commercial use. Company records come from official public registries: Brønnøysund, Bolagsverket, CVR and PRH in the Nordics, Handelsregister in DACH, Companies House in the UK, SEC EDGAR in the US, plus equivalents elsewhere. Hiring and leadership data comes from licensed access to public LinkedIn and job-board metadata. Domain and DNS data comes from commercial providers. We never scrape private or gated systems.
Those tools collect and surface things that are already public: press releases, website changes, social posts. Paldo picks up operational signals before they ever become public. We're a predictive layer, not an aggregation layer. Plenty of customers happily run both.
ChatGPT is great at summarising things that already exist online. Paldo is built for the opposite problem: surfacing signals nobody has written about yet. A competitor preparing a Nordic expansion six weeks ahead of the press release isn't in ChatGPT's training data or its web search. It's a pattern hidden across hiring posts, registry filings, domain changes and leadership moves. We watch that pattern every day, weigh the signals, and deliver them with the evidence behind them. ChatGPT is a tool. Paldo is a system that runs continuously.
Yes. Paldo works on any company, anywhere in the world, public or private. We actively monitor the US, UK, DACH, Asia and beyond. Coverage is deepest in the Nordics because the registries there (Brønnøysund, Bolagsverket, CVR, PRH) give us structured data that most other countries don't. Outside that region we lean harder on digital-footprint, hiring and leadership signals. If a company has a website and a LinkedIn page, Paldo can read it.
Plenty. Paldo tracks named competitors, newcomers approaching your industry, and the concepts that shape your market: regulation, technologies, business models, customer behaviours, anything you want a finger on the pulse of. During onboarding we scope your set together, and the product is built around it. An agile startup might watch a handful of new entrants and five concepts. A larger company often monitors dozens of competitors, hundreds of concepts and continuous newcomer scans. Pricing scales accordingly, so you only pay for the breadth you actually need.
Every Move Card has a confidence score and a precedent match rate, calibrated against thousands of past strategic moves. High-confidence cards (75% and up) have historically gone public within the predicted window in more than 80% of cases. We always show our working, so you see the signals behind the call, not just a verdict.
